Collaborative Adaptation of Preservation Processes: Redefining the Workflow for Circulating Books

Session Description

Colorado State University Libraries has developed an innovative workflow for treating monographs which arrive in the Preservation Lab from the general collections. The workflow incorporates information from multiple sources to determine the most appropriate conservation action for each volume, and also serves as a tool for collection development by identifying electronic versions or updated editions of books.
