Session Description
The Reading Chicago Reading project explores how readers across the City of Chicago have experienced the One Book One Chicago program over the past 15 years. The project examines the relationship between the program’s book finalists, circulation data provided by the Chicago Public Library, and the demographic information of the diverse Chicago communities. Our workflow allows us to proceed from known “work” record information using OCLC and HathiTrust APIs to establish if the HathiTrust dataset contains any book edition in English language of a particular work.
